Job Description – Administrative Assistant
Reports to Festival Executive Director
Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc., a non-profit organization, is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to help with office work and organizing 5 festival events in Cedarburg. Candidates must have ability to work 15 hours a week and have mandatory availability to work the full weeks prior to each festival, the weekends of, and a few days post festival. A general schedule of working Tuesdays through Thursdays is preferred. Hourly wage starts at $10/hour. Festivals will pay ½ of your monthly cell phone bill. You will receive reimbursement for festival-related expenses including mileage. No other benefits are provided.
The individual should be able to perform administrative and clerical duties. We are looking for an applicant that is a reliable and responsible team player with a strong attention to detail. The perfect candidate will be incredibly organized, self-directed, creative, hardworking, resourceful, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Applicants must be versatile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a team environment. This person should also have the capacity to deal with multi-dimensional tasks, along with the ability to establish strong working relationships.
General Duties:

Administrative tasks

Handle general correspondence via email

Answer phones

Process accounting and billing

Manage deliveries

Maintain our storage area, keep organized and supplied with inventory

Maintain databases and files
-
Keep office clean and organized, sweep, dust, garbage, storage as necessary

General support of all festival activities as needed
Festival Operations:
-
Point of contact during the festival week
-
General copying and filing
-
Manage raffle item solicitation as needed
-
Oversee festival mailings and deliveries
-
Volunteer coordination
-
Errands as needed
-
Manage the return of equipment to the storage
-
Assist in maintaining storage and inventory
-
Assist with taping the street before a festival
-
Assist with set up on Friday before event
-
Assist with planning all other aspects of the festivals as needed
-
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Reliable transportation
-
Ability to lift 40lbs
-
Be on feet for long hours during festival weekends
-
Ability to do multiple levels of steps while carrying equipment
-
Ability to get City of Cedarburg bartender’s license (18+ years old)

Strong Mac computer skills that include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs

Photoshop skills is a plus but not necessary

Event background is a plus but not necessary
