Calling all dames and fellas! Festivals of Cedarburg will be putting on the ritz this February as Winter Festival celebrates the "Roaring 20s" from 8am to 9pm on Saturday the 15th, and 8am to 3pm on Sunday the 16th. This two-day sockdollager will feature an Ice Carving Contest, barrel races, Cedarburg’s famous “bed-races on ice,” camel rides, outdoor activities and much more, including a Saturday night, adults-only speakeasy! So get a wiggle on and head down to Cedarburg's Winter Festival - it's sure to be the eel's hips!
COMMERCE STATE BANK sponsors this favorite annual festival, and festivities will take place throughout the heart of Cedarburg on Washington Avenue. For those ready to get outside and test their endurance, camel rides, sledding, ice skating, golfing, parades or dog pulls might be in order. Indoor fun includes chili cook-offs, music, merchant activities, shopping and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast!
The popular Ice Carving Contest sets the stage along the city’s main street, where 300-pound blocks of ice will be transformed into glistening pieces of theme-inspired art by talented ice carvers – fun to peruse, along with the shops and studios along Washington Avenue and throughout the Cedar Creek Settlement. The Cedarburg History Museum and the Cedarburg Visitors Center is also open during Winter Festival - Cedarburg’s newest museum houses the former General Store Museum and the Rappold-Dobberpuhl historic photograph collection, as well as rotating exhibits.
