Festivals of Cedarburg is proud to present Winter Festival 2024! Winter Festival is an indoor and outdoor event in historic downtown Cedarburg. Local boutiques, bars, cafes, and restaurants will be joining in the Winter Festival fun! Check out all the great spots and support local businesses.

Our theme this year is 'Back to the 80s', come join the fun in your awesome 80s costume! Indoor activities (in the Community Center Gym) include: Festival Marketplace (Sat), 80s selfie photo wall, Cedarburg's BEST restaurant soup contest (Sun), beer/wine (cash and credit), kiddo activities, raffle, Food Court with mac and cheese, hotdogs, rice crispy treats- cash and credit), and Boy Scout Troop 830 Sunday pancake breakfast ($10 adult, $5 Kids 3-12, FREE kids under 3, MORE HAPPY KITCHENS Kids Cookie Contest (Sun noon), and Merchant Raffle (Sun 10-2pm, drop off printed receipt for $10 or more to get ticket to enter drawing) Outdoor activities include: Ice Sculpting Contest (Sat), Costumed Bed Races on Riveredge Drive at 1:30pm, food trucks (Sat), Lions Iceberg Golf Open (Sat), Foxtown Brewing Pig Roast (outside Community Center noon), BEST Cedarburg Restaurant Soup Contest (Sun noon), Malamute Dog Pull Contest (Sun), and kids penguin egg hunt (Sun 11am).

SAT. EVENING EVENT

​

Get ready for a TOTALLY TUBULAR 80s BASH on Sat. 2/17, 6:30pm-10pm at the Cedarburg Cultural Center . . . Party 80s style in your RAD costumes, with live game show hosting 80s trivia with prizes,  80s DJ, dancing, costume contest, swag bags (while supplies last), raffle, and beer/cocktails/wine!

Tickets available for $40 at the door!

Ice Carving Contest

Saturday, February 17th 8:30am – 2:00pm

​

​

​Divisions:  

  • Adult Division (16 yrs. and older, maximum 2 adult carvers)                                                      

  • Family/Youth or Group Division (family must include at least 1 child under age 16 and 1 adult; *group must include at least 1 adult)

​Info:

Ice Block Specs:   Each ice block is 10” x 20” x 40” weighing 270 pounds.​

Ice Block Location:  Pick up your ice block location and carving tools beginning at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 17th in The Community Center. Area merchants sponsor the ice blocks​

​Judging:  

Judging begins at 2:00pm, ice sculptures will be judged on a point system for originality, artistic merit, and adherence to the theme.

Back to the 80s!​

​Prizes:        

  • Best of Show - $250

  • Adult Division:  1st Prize - $100; 2nd Prize - $75; 3rd Prize - $50.

  • Family/Youth or Group Division:  1st Prize - $100; 2nd Prize - $75; 3rd Prize - $50.​

Winners will be announced on Saturday in the Community Center immediately following the  judging, which should at approximately 4:00 p.m.  Prizes will be mailed to those not present.

​Rules:  

Check-in: All carvers/groups MUST check-in in the Community Center before carving and get their block assignment.

Additives:  Props ARE allowed. No additives may be used (snow, coloring, etc.). The Festival Committee is not responsible for lost props.

Shaver Tools:  Shaver tools are available with a deposit of $10 for each tool.  A full refund will be given if shavers are returned on day of competition to registration table. Hand tools only. NO power tools allowed.

Bed Race Team Entry Form

Race Location: Race will take place on ice on Mill Pond, Boy Scout Park, behind the Cedar Creek Settlement (if no ice, race will take place on street)

Team Requirements: Five members to race (4 to push and 1 to ride on bed)

Divisions: Powder Puff (based on costume only)and Speed

Prizes:

  • Powder Puff: $250.00 for best costume                                      

  • Speed: 1st place $150.00, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50.00                                                

Entry Fee:  $10 per team. See below for payment.

37th Annual Cedarburg Iceberg Open

Charity Golf Tournament


Date: Saturday, February 17, 2024
Time: Check-in at 9:00 AM inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center

Shotgun start at 10:00 AM at Cedar Creek Park

Fee: $45 per golfer

​

Each golfer will receive a commemorative pair of Iceberg Open gloves and a tennis ball to be used in place of an actual golf at the check-in. This event is open to golfers and non-golfers alike. Most participants use their favorite golf club but you can bring as many as you’d like. So organize your foursome and send in the tax-deductible donation of $45.00 per participant asap. Golfers can also pay at check-in at 9:00 AM inside the Cedarburg Cultural Center. We also accept credit cards and checks with proper identification. Since we have a limited number of golf slots reservations will be received on a first come first serve basis.

​

Typically the temperature is quite cold so please dress appropriately. After you have checked in both the Cedarburg American Legion and the Rebellion Tavern will be open. The Lions will have FREE draft beer at both locations until it runs out. After you have completed your golf round, please head back to the American Legion for our “famous” spaghetti lunch! We will also hand out door prizes, 50/50 and raffle prizes.

ALL YOU CAN EAT pancake breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop 830. 

Includes two sausages, fruit, butter, syrup and milk, coffee, water or orange juice.

$10 Adults, $5 Kids 3-12, FREE 3 and under
