FESTIVAL INFORMATION

Festivals of Cedarburg is proud to host its annual festivals held in the streets of historic downtown Cedarburg, WI. Festivals welcome more than 250,000 attendees and visitors annually and over 300 artists/vendors participating in each Strawberry Festival and Wine & Harvest Festival!

IMPORTANT DATES 2024:

Jan. 1st - Applications for artists, vendors, food vendors, music, amusement are available online

 

March 15 - Jury  application deadline for Strawberry Festival and/or dual applicants (for both Strawberry Festival and Wine & Harvest Festival)
 

March 22 - Notification of acceptance or rejection deadline for all Strawberry Festival only and dual applicants to both Strawberry Festival and Wine & Harvest Festival​

 

May 1 - Contracts with booth payment and all forms due

 

May 15 - Strawberry Festival waitlist applicants notified if neccesary

 

June 1 - Jury application deadline for Wine & Harvest Festival only

Overview


Festivals of Cedarburg welcomes musical entertainers of all ages to apply to perform at the Festival main stage, sponsored by Foxtown Brewing. *(TBD additional stage location) Performers under the age of 18 will need to have guardian accompaniment.

 

Performances are typically two hour sets with breaks, with the first acts of the day lasting one hour, beginning at 10:30am. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

 

Sound system and sound engineer will be provided for bands. Set-up and sound check is 30 minutes before set time. There is no allowance for early set-up. Bands may sell their own merchandise during their set time.

Load in times and information on set up etc. will be emailed upon acceptance.

NEW in 2024:

​

JURY PROCESS AND FEES - this is the only application for both Strawberry Festival and Wine & Harvest Festival 2024 (there will NOT be another time later in the year). Applications and fees are being implemented due to an overwhelming amount of interest in performing at the festivals.


FEES

  • $10 jury fee is due at the time of application and is non-refundable. Applications will not be processed until the jury fee is received.  Deadline is March 15, 2024.

  • Videos submitted are reviewed and judged by Festivals of Cedarburg staff, board members and/or with input from sponsor representatives. Selection is made based on sound quality, stage presence, crowd interactions, genre of music, and appropriateness to the festivals. Submissions that do not meet eligibility requirements will not be accepted.


ACCEPTANCE

  • Festivals of Cedarburg can accommodate up to 8 musical acts over each of the two day festivals. *(Additional stage location TBD)

  • Acceptance decisions are final, with bands  notified on or before March 22nd, 2024. Participation in previous festivals does not guarantee acceptance in future festivals.  

​

  • Signed and completed contracts not submitted by stated due date will void contract offer and waitlisted bands will be contacted.

EXPECTATIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS 

Please practice patience and understanding with everyone at this fun art and community festival. During set-up, the days of the event, and take-down, vendors are expected to behave respectfully toward all event staff, volunteers, their fellow vendors, and festival guests. If any vendor is observed to be disrespectful, Festivals of Cedarburg reserves the right to refuse participation in subsequent events. It is MANDATORY that each participant read and sign the Festivals of Cedarburg Code of Conduct in order to participate.

 

Accepted vendor images may be used for festival publicity purposes. All vendors will be credited if their images are used (vendors will be tagged if social media handles are provided in application).

CORRESPONDENCE
Unless special arrangements have been made with Festivals of Cedarburg, correspondence (including acceptance) will be sent to the email address provided through the online application system. It is the responsibility of the vendor to check their email regularly. PLEASE notify Festivals of Cedarburg of changes to email addresses or contact info/mailing address. THIS IS IMPORTANT AS WE SEND  PARKING TAG VIA USPS MAIL.

COMPLIANCE 
Music submitted for jurying must be representative of the work performed at the festivals. During the festivals, Festivals of Cedarburg staff have the authority to request alternative playlists or for bands to stop performance all together if found to be outside parameters of accepted application. No pyrotechnics allowed.

PETS
Per City of Cedarburg ordinance 7-14-1 of the Festivals Celebration Permit: Prohibition of Animals, pets are NOT allowed in the festival grounds or Cedar Creek park for special events. Non-service animals will be asked to leave the event.

REFUND POLICY

​

ATTENDANCE AND REFUNDS  

Once an artist has submitted a contract compensation will not be granted for artists who withdraw from the show. The event will be held rain or shine. In case of severe inclement weather, no refunds will be given.​
